Kenyan Politics:A rugged prodigy with no limits

The 10th parliament left a legacy for generations to mill at. And if one gets it right is, presumably, for all the wrong reasons. What with the hefty sendoff packs for themselves they awarded? They hoped to lure other top dignitaries into their baits so that they'd have their part of the bargain perked out of treasury, or hitherto, corroborate to their whims. Perhaps to them it was justifiable. In any case, prior to that unanimous assenting of that bill, most of them of the legislators had requisite knowledge that they had lost ground and that the possibility of them pulling their temples back to the auspicious August house reduced to a zero. Finally, they had put their odds on  Baba  Jimmy to do his part of the bargain-to sign the bogus bill into law. Baba  Jimmy did have the last laugh. He was bright enough to shrug off anything that would appear detrimental to the legacy he'd leave behind after March. In a quick rejoinder, he had his own gratuity appende...

Life's files:The case of a campus student

It's a quintessential Monday morning.Serious junk again. The don with a pair of haggard eyes is gonna set foot to the unhyped LT to gamble about his prowess in his field of specialty. Still, I got nothing to show that I've added value to myself (allow me to be egocentric for once) during the week-end. This Monday is a day of sorts. According to me and those who arguably can reason with me, they're some stuff that are worthy of assumptions: Ever thought of transition, transposition or change? What does it present to our lives? I'd say they let us arrive at hope or illusions or they drive us to utopia IF chances are that we keep the same effort to ourselves and wait for our 'time to eat'. A woman tells her hubby "am tired of playing second fiddle"...Analytically, in relation to the latter, an equation has been modeled as follows: M=x (W)   where x>1 Society expects much from each of us. It expects us to be of high integrity when we are...

Boyhood Memoirs

"They have hoped for life’s good gains...have found as old men find. And now they bow their heads like drenched men from the rains'', wrote Armattoe. As a kid, progressed to a naughty, each time I thought I had become wiser than before. Maybe I was right. Mum would beat the mistakes I was content to make out of me. Though the blunders I could make only served as a platform to aggravate my inner fears, I was most certain of the extent the retribution would go; I would cry my tears dry, shout my temples hoarse or rub my limbs sore...but mum just wouldn't listen. Even when I swore the world over in the name of begging for clemency. Thanks to her whips, today I live with the notion that with each venture I am on I accept the outcome no matter what may. Grandma would talk of tales that were captivating and worth listening to. She wouldn't cease even when every other cousin had fallen asleep by the warmth of the embers and her delivery reduced to some superfluous m...

See your blues Blues

And at the umpteenth time,we last fell victims of a ref manhattan and callous enough to put us as bait in a yet would be uniteds' hook. His name Mark Clattenburg. Our hopes of getting back into our winning ways dimmed and plummeted when two cards saw two away in a span of five minutes to ease the way for united and to the relish of its fans. The blues put up a strong fight-to the tether. Then it happened again. This time Mark allowing an offside goal from Chicharito. Undoubtedly, the win was lame and far from just. You should have seen how their fanatics danced and jeered.I'd acquire a tremor of annoyance then.Conversely,I already had my clefts ready but rather disdainfully.I cursed Mark to damnation. Then I imagined what could become of united if the latter quit. They'd struggle off in the league.Facile simple. I have since stifled a yawn.No hard feelings though.United won.Unfairly.Cheers united for the win.Cheers for the glamor, fame and hoary. But wait....
